"I slept very little, barely closed my eyes, and the alarm clock was already trying with all its might to get me on my feet. It was still dark night when I closed the campervan and headed towards the path leading to the top of the cliff. I hadn't imagined this dawn like this; I was hoping for a clear sky and a view of the beautiful moon, which was full that day. In the sky, I only saw dense clouds and a trace of light indicating the moon's position. Fortunately, I took the risk, and as I prepared my easel and paints, the beautiful full moon appeared for a brief moment. With quick brushstrokes, I applied layer after layer of paint and... I succeeded, I painted the moonset in Étretat."

The painting was created as part of the 'In the Footsteps of Claude Monet' project in France.

This painting is available for sale now, however, its physical shipment will take place after the end of the exhibition presenting the entire 'In the Footsteps of Claude Monet' collection in Poland (October 9-11, 2026), no later than October 31, 2026.

The painting is sold unframed and unvarnished.
