"This was meant to be the last painting in the series. I didn't know then that Étretat would draw me back once more, and I would be there a few days later. I climbed to the top of Falaise d'Aval cliff and had less than an hour before dusk. The sun bathed the sky in warm light — I often feel as if it listens to my subconscious pleas to show its most beautiful face."

The painting was created as part of the 'Following in the Footsteps of Claude Monet' project in France.

This painting is available for sale now, but its physical shipment will take place after the exhibition presenting the entire 'Following in the Footsteps of Claude Monet' collection in Poland (October 9-11, 2026), no later than October 31, 2026.

The painting is sold unframed and unvarnished.
