"This painting is very important to me; I had long awaited the moment of my arrival in Étretat. The evening before, when I first saw these majestic cliffs with my own eyes, I felt a kind of bond that connected me with them. I started painting early in the morning, on rocks uncovered by the low tide, when everything around was shrouded in fog. A few moments later, the fog lifted, and with the first rays of the sun, the cliff appeared in its full glory."

The painting was created as part of the 'In the Footsteps of Claude Monet' project in France.

This painting is available for sale now, but its physical shipment will take place after the exhibition presenting the entire 'In the Footsteps of Claude Monet' collection in Poland (October 9-11, 2026), no later than October 31, 2026.

The painting is sold unframed and unvarnished.
