"I thought I wouldn't be able to paint poppies anymore, but I wanted to so badly! By chance, I stumbled upon a cliff, 20 minutes from Dieppe, and there, to my surprise and joy, a beautiful field of these red flowers appeared, right at the edge of the cliff. The wind blew incessantly and night was about to fall, but I made it. That day, I won the battle against time and the Sun, which was rushing to set beyond the horizon."

The painting was created as part of the 'Following in the Footsteps of Claude Monet' project in France.

This painting is available for sale now, but its physical shipment will take place after the exhibition presenting the entire 'Following in the Footsteps of Claude Monet' collection in Poland (October 9-11, 2026), no later than October 31, 2026.

The painting is sold unframed and unvarnished.
