"The first paintings of a broader cycle are always a challenge for me. A new place, previously unknown conditions, it's a bit like a warm-up before a longer run. From the very beginning of my journey in France, nature showed itself to be exceptionally variable and unpredictable here. This was something completely new to me, but I immediately loved this variability. The painting depicting a boat by the banks of the Seine marks the beginning of an important artistic chapter."

The painting was created as part of the 'Following Claude Monet's Footsteps' project in France.

This painting is available for sale now, but its physical shipment will take place after the end of the exhibition presenting the entire 'Following Claude Monet's Footsteps' collection in Poland (October 9-11, 2026), no later than October 31, 2026.
