"The day before, for the first time since arriving in France, I wasn't happy with the painting and painted over it. However, I liked this view so much that I got up the next morning and decided to give myself another chance. I had to hurry because the tide was quite strong and the sun was getting more and more scorching, but I succeeded and finished the painting."

The painting was created as part of the project 'In the Footsteps of Claude Monet' in France.

This painting is available for sale now, but its physical shipment will take place after the exhibition presenting the entire 'In the Footsteps of Claude Monet' collection in Poland (October 9-11, 2026), no later than October 31, 2026.

The painting is sold unframed and unvarnished.
