"This is a constant struggle against time, though this time not because of the setting sun, but due to the violent high tide. I started painting the picture on the beach, and then moved the easel several times closer and closer to the shore, escaping the waves. Such a sight inspires enormous respect for nature."

The painting was created as part of the 'In the Footsteps of Claude Monet' project in France.

This painting is available for sale now, but its physical shipment will take place after the exhibition presenting the entire 'In the Footsteps of Claude Monet' collection in Poland (October 9-11, 2026), no later than October 31, 2026.
