"For over two hours, I walked along the banks of the Seine, unable to find a good spot to paint. First, the entire sky clouded over, then the perspective didn't suit me, and finally, it started to rain. I was already on my way back to the van, resigned and reconciled with the fact that this morning would not yield any artistic fruits. But the weather here is unpredictable. A single ray of sunshine illuminating the opposite bank was enough for me to stop in my tracks, quickly set up my easel, and hastily begin painting the landscape with the Seine."

The painting was created as part of the 'Following Claude Monet's Footsteps' project in France.

This painting is available for sale now, but its physical shipment will occur after the exhibition presenting the entire 'Following Claude Monet's Footsteps' collection in Poland (October 9-11, 2026), no later than October 31, 2026.

The painting is sold unframed and unvarnished.
