It was torture, and I focused my thoughts only on surviving until evening. Forecasts indicated an approaching storm and a change in weather. In the evening, the wind began to blow stronger and stronger, the cornfield began to dance to the rhythm of more powerful gusts, and the first thunder rumbled in the distance. Finally, the downpour came. The storm was intense, but with it came a breath of fresh air from the heat. I wasn't going to paint that day, but I noticed that the rain clouds left beautiful streaks in the sky, and additionally, the setting Sun made its presence felt, creating a beautiful, warm light.
